Joy is ours through Christ! At East Marion United Methodist we seek to build a thriving extended Christian family of disciples following Jesus where He takes us. Jesus may take us deep into scripture or to a project to rehab a house; He may lead us to the ER and hospital or even into prisons. He may inspire us to gratitude and praise through music, prayer, testimony and service to others.

As a Christian community we come together and to Jesus—just as we are today, right now—to share our concerns, burdens and joys. At EMUM we continually read and study His word, pray a lot and laugh every time we’re together. We truly enjoy being with and supporting each other. We are joyous in celebrating our relationships with Christ and each other. We believe that Jesus loves us even when we fall short on our journeys to live like He taught us.
